Software providers that specialise in certain industries can provide excellent software solutions integrated to a Core Accounting product. These third party products are sometimes very advanced and unique and provide an excellent solution combined with a core accounting product. Software Options are accredited resellers for a number of third party products and have been providing these solutions for many years.

Software Options only recommend third party solutions that integrate seamless without clunky export\imports not like some integrations and the company can provide quality support and services.

Software Options have had many years experience working in close association with a number of third party companies who provide specialist products which we have assisted in providing an integration to our core accounting product.

We have assisted in providing an integration with products such as:

Developed Customisation:

Sometimes it is a requirement to have a front end solution developed that will handle the needs of a specific industry in more detail. Typically the solution would be using the bulk of the core accounting product, however for example there may be a unique document processing screen that provides client exact needs. These options update direct into the core accounting software which creates a seamless solution as if they belong together.

Some of the industries we have been involved in recently are:

  • Trucking Industry allowing the input of consignments\manifests
  • Wholesale Document processing requiring special customised billing and information display
  • Distribution System where orders can be entered prompting for Regions and locations and auto populating an order\invocie. Customised reports for deliveries are produced and payslip for deliveries auto generated.

Report Customisation:

Software Options have had vast experience in Report Customisation, utilising products such as Crystal Reports. Crystal reports is a third party data interrogation package that allows drilling into the Sage Pastel data and create management reports. This may save many hours of data manipulation.

BIC (Business Intelligence Centre) Reporting for Sage Pastel is a unique reporting tool that comes standard with many Financial and Sales Reports. This reporting tool is unique in that it opens the reports direct into MS Excel in a predetermined format where data can be drilled down in the spreadsheet and saved. Once again saving many hours of manual manipulation

Customised Utilities:

Sometimes it is a requirement for a client to have a special utility created to perform a special task that may normally be very time consuming or repetitive.

Some of the recent utilities provided are:

  • Inventory Importer which is an advanced utility for exporting and importing inventory files provided in various formats from suppliers. Many advanced features.
  • EDI Ordering Utility creates a file from selected orders to enable a file to be imported direct into the clients supplier system.
  • Data Fact Sheet Printing. This is a requirement of some industries when printing documents to provide detailed fact sheets on particular products when supplied. This utility automates this process by auto printing the fact sheets for required items when the document is printed.
